Twitter Sign In

Today, we are going to teach you how to perform a Twitter sign in so that you can access your account and start tweeting.

Twitter is one of the biggest and most important social networks in the world, numbering more than 330 million active users to date. Launched in 2006, Twitter is actively used for self-promotion, news reporting, small talk (which is what the market-research firm Pear Analytics called “pointless babble” in their study of tweets contents), conversation or pass-along value (a marketing term used for when a user shares an advertisement). Beside this, almost 4% of worldwide tweet posts are spam.

So, what are tweets? Well, they are the messages through which users communicate on Twitter. These messages have a limit of up to 280 characters (140 characters for Japanese, Korean and Chinese), and users can use them to post on their own profiles, and to message other users. And you also have the possibility of retweeting an interesting tweet, or include hashtags in your posts. In order to see what others are tweeting, you can subscribe to their profiles (which is called “following”), and then you’ll be able to see their tweets in your news feed.

If you only want to read tweets, you do not need to register as a user, but in order to post something on your profile, you need to be a registered user and create an account. This is because, while registered users can post tweets, those who are unregistered can only read them. Therefore, if you want to share your thoughts with the world, or promote your products, you must begin by creating a Twitter account, and then sign in. Twitter can be accessed through a website interface, Short Message Service (SMS) or mobile device application software (“app”).
